Husbands & Wives and Having Single Close Friends

It is said that there is a difference being married and single.Yes the life of the style of  one after he/she  is married changes,but being married does it mean that they should keep their single friends at bay?

Basically, it is a thing of choice that gradually metamorphosise and plays out as time goes by.The wives for obvious reasons do not want their husbands keeping single friends ,male or female due to the life style of such friends especially when the male friend might keep strings of  hot ,cute ,beautiful lady friends .Also if the female friend (single or married)  is flirtatious around their husband.

On the other hand the husbands  can be very jealous when they see their wives with male friends who are good looking ,with money to spend and that acts inappropriately in front of their wives.You know men know how they operate.In respect to keeping female single friends, the husbands could be uncomfortable with the life style of such a female female friend .

Is it appropriate to ditch your single friend when you get married?

In some cases it is comprehend-able,if one is assumes that inappropriate signals are coming from the supposed friend. It could be envy,irritation in private or public,change in attitude or otherwise.

However what if the single friend is one that is of good cheer,proved his/her worth as a friend time and time again ,God fearing,no ill social vices, as late night outings,or flirting with the opposite sex.Is it proper to let such a good friend go?

Let us highlight the pros an cons of having single friends below:

Advantage:

• Single friends carefree attitude will loosen up the married who could be uptight due to responsibilities at home,eg school fees. 
• Having single friends keeps the married trendy in fashion,music,entertainment et al.

Disadvantages:

• Being with carefree singles could make the married  (both husbands & wives) disregard responsibilities at home .
• Having single friends could arouse suspicions where there should not be ,thereby causing misunderstanding that could have been avoided.
• Likelihood of jealousy could be aroused especially in the female friends of the wives .
• Likelihood of the husband or wife falling for the friend in a moment of weakness could also cause a rift in the home as spouses would rather their spouse cheated on them with an unknown face than someone they have drank and dined with.

It is important to note that the consequences of the disadvantages is highly detrimental to the family.Does the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? You be the judge.
