Sex Strike by Women in Nigeria,possible or impossible?

Lets just digress a bit ,I stumbled on the story on Time Magazine that a group of women in Tokyo are threatening to go on sex strike, to protest conservative Yoichi Masuzoe's gubernatorial bid, if anyone votes for him.

This is due to his claim in 1989  that  'menstruation makes women unfit  for government'. Do you agree with him?.

As hilarious as it may seem it is yet very serious .It also depicts the culture and norm of the Japanese people, that ironically it seems like the men do not joke with lovemaking.

However ,this calls to mind the question ,"Will or can the women in Nigeria do the same?Will the men take the women seriously if they decide to abstain from sex due to presentation of a candidate that they (the women) deem unfit to run for a political position.
