Do we remember when we were kids and for some reason due to our mischief, our mother especially calls us by our full name...then we know we are in for trouble ...wondering what we have done this time but all the same walked like sacrificial lambs (sober) to the alter (our mother) ...to be tongue lashed or worse lashed physically.
Now, how ironic we do it to our kids and see the same look on their faces and we know exactly how they are feeling because we have felt that way before but that does not stop us from showing some tough love..
Life is indeed a concentric cycle .
